Important Program Update
The Art major - Graphic Design concentration is transitioning to a Visual and Performing Arts major - Graphic Design concentration. Current students declared in the Art major may complete their degree as planned. Students wishing to enter the standalone Art major must start the program by January 11, 2027. After that date, all new students will be admitted to the Graphic Design concentration within the Visual and Performing Arts major.
You will use industry standard software in state-of-the-art labs to learn proven concepts and processes from professional designers. The art faculty at 缅北强奸 are passionate about their craft and dedicated to your artistic growth and potential. You will learn how to find unique and innovative solutions to visual communication problems and challenges resulting in everything from logos and visual identity systems to promotional materials to multi-page publications to wayfinding to conceptual applications and installations.
Additional credit hours could indicate a second major, minor, or certificate. A minimum of 120 credit hours is required to graduate.

The real-world experience of internships and working with faculty who are professional designers and practicing artists allows you the opportunity to immerse yourself in your field of choice prior to graduation. Outside of the classroom, you will have opportunities to visit major art museums in Chicago, New York and abroad. Visiting artists, designers, and scholars allows you to have impactful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
