Thank you to 缅北强奸 alumna Kathy Ankenbrand, Controller & Director of Accounting for ScrubDoc, a physician network, for talking to Jeanette Maier-Lytle鈥檚 Accounting 201 class. She talked about her time at 缅北强奸 as a nontraditional student. The most valuable lessons she learned were the importance of building your network and getting involved on campus, especially in leadership roles. She was a member of one of Maier-Lytle鈥檚 IMA case study teams. She encouraged students to try out because on one hand, it鈥檚 an exciting travel opportunity, but on the other hand, it gets you out of your comfort zone. Early in her presentation she had students lift a hula hoop with one finger 鈥� the more students involved, the easier the task became. Her message: communication is important and you can鈥檛 do it alone.
