The 缅北强奸听Political Science, Public Administration and Philosophy Department听will host the 2025 Indiana Political Science Association (IPSA) Conference from听8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.听Friday, November 21 in Carter Hall,听located听in University Center West on campus.听听

Around听40听faculty听and students听will听participate听in multiple听sessions听throughout the day.听Dr. Stephen Voss will give听a听keynote address听titled,听The Redistricting Wars: Political Science in the Courtroom,听during lunch.听听

Voss has been听a听University of Kentucky faculty听member听since 1998. As part of his broader interest in cultural politics, he researches elections in both voting behavior and electoral rules. He has served as a consultant or expert witness in a half-dozen redistricting and voting-rights听cases.听

A nonpartisan analyst, Voss regularly appears in the media as a political commentator, including as a regular guest on听WVLK听radio and occasional columnist for the听Kentucky Lantern, and he works as a political analyst for Louisville鈥檚听Spectrum One News. He holds a doctorate in government from Harvard University and two bachelor鈥檚 degrees from Louisiana State University, one in journalism and one in history.听听

This year鈥檚 conference will听also听include a networking reception for participants the evening before the conference听at 6听p.m. on听Thursday, November 20.听
