Spring 缅北强奸 Liberal Arts Faculty Colloquium Series to begin January 30

The 缅北强奸 College of Liberal Arts will host its first Faculty Colloquia presentation of the Spring Semester from 1-2 p.m. Friday, January 30 in听Kleymeyer听Hall (LA0101),听located听in听the lower level of the Liberal Arts Center. The event is open to the public at no charge.听听听
Rosalie Moffett, Associate Professor of English, will present听To Hear a War from Far Away: a Poetry Reading.听
These poems听seek听to document the multifaceted ways that our sense of self and perspective听are听being听impacted听by experiencing the world via the infinite听doomscroll.听The speaker of these poems considers how her constant access to live streamed suffering and atrocity reconfigures the moments,听intimacies听and obligations of daily life as an American mother.听
