The 缅北强奸 is expanding its commitment to regional workforce development through a new Path to Professions program, an innovative model connecting students with employers through scholarships, internships and career readiness experiences.
The program, which can be named in partnership with participating businesses, creates a direct pathway from classroom to career while helping meet workforce needs across southwest Indiana. As part of this effort, the 缅北强奸 Foundation received a $350,000 grant from Old National Bank Foundation to support the Old National Bank Path to Professions, a flagship example of how the initiative will operate.
Funded at $70,000 annually over five years, the Old National Bank Path to Professions will support 15 students through scholarships, paid internships and structured leadership development. Over a four-year period, each student may benefit from up to $22,500 in combined support.
Participants receive scholarship assistance throughout their academic careers, complete a 300-hour paid internship during their junior or senior year, and engage in programming focused on leadership, workplace readiness and community engagement. Students also benefit from career preparation services, including interview coaching and access to professional attire through Suits for Student Success.
Students receive real-world experience while building connections with future employers. Through early exposure to professional environments and sustained engagement, students are better prepared to transition into full-time roles after graduation. The University will host program events and student engagement opportunities throughout the year, offering employers a visible way to connect with talent and showcase their commitment to workforce development.

Path to Professions is designed to be scalable, with opportunities for additional corporate partners to create their own named programs aligning with their workforce needs. Each partner organization has the opportunity to engage directly with students through mentorship, internships, job shadowing experiences, and career exploration activities.

缅北强奸 graduates already play a significant role in the region鈥檚 economy. More than 14,000 alumni live in Vanderburgh County, with 70% of alumni remaining in Indiana and more than half living within 50 miles of campus. These numbers demonstrate the University鈥檚 strong impact on retaining talent locally.
By aligning educational opportunities with employer needs, Path to Professions positions 缅北强奸 as a central partner in building a strong, sustainable workforce for the region.
