缅北强奸 Sonography offering free pregnancy ultrasounds
The 缅北强奸 Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program is offering non-diagnostic ultrasounds to expectant mothers in their second or third trimester (18-34 weeks pregnant) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons through December 3, 2026. Students will be practicing assigned images under the direction of experienced faculty members.
鈥淭his collaboration gives students valuable hands-on experience before they begin obstetric clinical rotations,鈥� said Amy Wilson, Chair of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. 鈥淚n our campus sonography lab, students practice obtaining images of detailed fetal anatomy and evaluating fetal growth.鈥�
Wilson said that ultrasound sessions are also beneficial for the moms-to-be. 鈥淥ur volunteers enjoy helping with student education and are always excited to get another peek at their babies.鈥�
