Southern听Indiana Dance Marathon (SIDM),听a student organization at 缅北强奸,听is hosting a blood drive with听Versiti听Blood Center of Indiana听from 10 a.m. to 2听p.m.听Wednesday,听January 14听in Carter Hall.听Versiti听will donate $10 to SIDM for every blood donor (up to $500), to be used to host听its annual Dance听Marathon for Riley Children鈥檚 Foundation, with all funds听benefiting听Riley Hospital for Children.听
During the 缅北强奸听Dance Marathon听on听Saturday,听February 21, participants will be on their feet for 12 hours straight听in support of Riley鈥檚 pediatric research, patient programs, maternity and newborn health, child life, social听work听and other vital family support programs.听
Children being treated for cancer, premature infants and children having heart surgery need blood and platelets from donors of all types,听especially听type O.听They rely on the generosity of donors who help ensure a safe, healthy blood supply.听听
Giving听blood is a quick,听simple way听to听help others. The donation process from the time you arrive to the time you leave is about an hour, but the actual donation time听only takes听eight to听10听minutes.听Here鈥檚听how to have听a听great experience:听
