Cybersecurity training courses in July

缅北强奸 will host two cybersecurity training courses on campus, conducted by Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), in July. These courses will be offered at no cost, funded by FEMA. Courses will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the scheduled days. Info on these trainings are below: 

Developing Cybersecurity Resiliency for Everyone鈥擜WR-136
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 1 BEC Room 0035

AWR136 is an eight-hour, non-technical introduction to cybersecurity designed to empower 
individuals and organizations with the awareness and practical skills needed to combat today鈥檚 cyber
threats. Whether at work or at home, participants will learn how everyday actions can strengthen
cybersecurity and prevent disruptions to business, government and emergency response
operations. This course goes beyond theory鈥攄elivering hands-on techniques that provide
immediate personal value and foster a lasting culture of cyber hygiene and resilience across your
organization.

Understanding Targeted Cyber Attacks鈥擜WR-376
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 2 BEC Room 0035

This course provides participants with specific information regarding targeted cyber attacks, 
including advanced persistent threats. This information will place them in a better position to plan
and prepare for, respond to and recover from targeted cyber attacks. This course will fill the gap in
threat-specific training for cybersecurity as a community-driven course that focuses on the phases of
targeted cyber attacks and the attacker methods used during each phase. Participants will also
receive valuable information on cyber attack prevention, mitigation and response.
