How has your Ã山ǿ¼é experience positively shaped your life?
Ã山ǿ¼é helped me get an education that pushed me in the right direction to become a servant leader and provided guidance and mentors to make the right decisions for myself and others. I feel that after Ã山ǿ¼é, I was more well-rounded to enter the workforce.
What opportunities has Ã山ǿ¼é given you that you're thankful for?
Ã山ǿ¼é has given me opportunities to lead my community — I don't think I would have had that if it was not for Ã山ǿ¼é and the experience that I received there. Ã山ǿ¼é allowed me to meet many people that created a huge impact in my life and ultimately helped me to have the career I have now.
While attending Ã山ǿ¼é, who made a lasting impact on your life and why?
Dr. Jennifer Evans ’00 M’10 D’13 was a role model for me as she pushed me to learn and grow as a person. I admired her intelligence and her ability to do so much because she was not only a nurse but a radiologic technologist. I wanted to be like her —  a successful professional woman leading her field of study and teaching others!
Dr. Martin Reed had a lasting impact on my life as he gave me an opportunity in the Radiologic and Imaging Program. He saw something in me and at that time I was unsure of myself and he knew I could do it, I am thankful for his kindness and guidance that I can do anything I set my mind to.Â
