Students should investigate whether a course will fit into their college coursework degree map before signing up for dual credit. There are several ways to investigate course utility. Information for Ã山ǿ¼é-bound students is below. 

Any dual-credit course a student registers for counts towards the overall number of credit hours a student may receive federal financial aid for. Thus, it is important that CAP students carefully consider any dual-credit courses before registering for them and verify that they will apply towards a potential future degree map. If students are undecided on possible majors, advisors will be able to provide general course recommendations (see Ã山ǿ¼é's Advising Center information below). Contact Ã山ǿ¼é's Student Financial Assistance Office with financial aid questions. 

Ã山ǿ¼é-bound students will be required to complete Ã山ǿ¼é's Core 39 general education requirement list. Note that most majors require a few specific Core 39 courses. Each academic program also has check-sheets showing what courses are required for that major (in addition to the Core 39 required courses).
