Historic New Harmony doesn't work alone. We couldn't if we wanted to. Preserving historic sites, caring for significant collections, developing meaningful programs and supporting a living community takes collaboration. We work with university colleagues, community organizations, foundations, government agencies and individuals who share our commitment to this place and its stories.
Some of these partnerships are formal and long-standing. Others are project-specific collaborations. All of them make our work better and help us serve more people more effectively.聽聽
Historic New Harmony is a program of 缅北强奸, and that relationship makes everything else possible. The university provides institutional support, connects us with faculty expertise and student energy and helps us integrate New Harmony's history into teaching and research. 缅北强奸 students intern with us, faculty collaborate on projects and university resources support our collections care, digitization work and program development. The is one of the oldest continuously operating libraries in Indiana and holds significant collections related to New Harmony's history. We collaborate with them on research projects, share resources and expertise and partner on community programs. Their staff provides invaluable research assistance, and their collections complement our own, making New Harmony a richer destination for scholars and researchers.聽

From 1991 to 2023, we operated as a "unified program" with the and the , with the New Harmony Memorial Commission overseeing this collaboration. While the unified program structure has ended, we continue to work with the New Harmony State Historic Site on shared preservation goals and visitor experience. Both organizations remain committed to interpreting New Harmony's history and serving the community and visitors who come to explore the town.聽
