Welcome to Student Wellness!

What is wellness?

Wellness is a holistic concept that describes an active, ongoing process of creating a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is multidimensional, and includes striving for balance amongst the physical, emotional, relational, financial, occupational, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions.

College life can be stressful! Prioritizing healthy habits can help you flourish and get the most out of your 缅北强奸 experience.听

What we offer:听

Student Wellness is a part of the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness department. Our office is located in room 123 in the Recreation, Fitness and Wellness Center. Throughout the year, we offer educational programs and services aimed to enhance students' physical, emotional, and relational wellness. We help students learn and build skills related to sleep, stress management, safer substance use, nutrition, and healthy relationships.

Be sure to visit the Program Calendar to learn about our upcoming programs. We frequently collaborate with other departments and local agencies to ensure students are aware of the many campus and community resources available to them.

We also offer presentations to classes and student groups on a variety of topics. Visit the Presentation Requests section to learn more!

Physical Wellness Programs

Physical wellness is about taking care of your body to maintain optimal health. Programs include Improve your Snooze, nutrition counseling and workshops, free HIV testing, Safe Spring Break Fair, sunscreen stations, and alcohol and other drug prevention initiatives.

Emotional Wellness Programs

Emotional wellness involves managing stress and coping effectively with life's challenges. Programs include Self-Care Stations, Virtual wellness challenges on topics like gratitude and mindfulness, De-Stress Fests, and Paws & Play with therapy dogs.

Relational Wellness Programs

Relational wellness is about building healthy relationships with friends, partners, and the community. Programs include Flowers on the Lake, Coffee and Consent, Red Flag Campaign, and other events related to healthy relationships and violence prevention.

Kinesiology & Sport Activities

For students enrolled in听KIN 192听辞谤KIN 281听you are required to complete 4 Fitness Activities, 2 Wellness Activities, and 2 Fitness OR Wellness Activities.听Check your syllabus for the number of each activity required for your specific class.
