Get Involved

The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education encourages students to take an active role in student organizations and support a variety of clubs and organizations. There are opportunities to participate in student government and student publications as well as clubs that聽plan entertainment, social, volunteer and educational activities.

There are many benefits to becoming involved in student organizations. In addition to learning more about yourself, your strengths and interests, you gain valuable skills. The friendships you develop, working together as a team on projects and goals, often remain strong long after graduation. The satisfaction of working as a team toward a common goal and knowing that you have made a positive contribution to your community is huge. Involvement in campus and college events, activities and organizations often help you develop relationships with faculty, staff and administrators, too.

Student Advisory Board

The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education Student Advisory Board provides support and advice on matters of interest to the College, its faculty, students and external constituents. This group helps address student concerns, provides an outlet for student ideas, and encourages involvement in the Pott College. The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education Student Advisory Board is a select group of students who are nominated by the respective Chair of each Department. Pott College Ambassadors

The 缅北强奸 Pott College Ambassadors are a select group of dynamic and innovative leaders who serve as representatives, recruiters, and hosts to promote services and benefits of the college to prospective students, current students, alumni, and their families. Our Ambassadors help with outreach events throughout the year and represent Pott College through numerous activities. STEM Theme Living Community

For all students with a major in Pott College studying science, math, engineering, kinesiology and sport, or education, this TLC can be your home. You will participate in a mentor/mentee program with other Pott College students and faculty! You'll have bi-weekly events like cook-outs, trivia night, Thanksgiving dinner with the Dean, and student panels. Your TLC will also include health and wellness events, like learning how to deal with stress, and much more. What else do you want your TLC to do? The A-Pott-Ments!

Pott College sophomores, juniors and seniors with similar interests, goals, and academic programs can be placed together in on-campus housing (apartments). The A-Pott-ments help students create a strong link between their lives and learning experiences in the classroom. A-Pott-ment residents enjoy all the same amenities as other residents and benefit from a unique living experience that fosters intellectual, academic, and personal growth. Peer Mentoring Program

Our Peer Mentoring Program is designed to provide support and guidance to undergraduate students as they transition from high school to college life. Incoming freshmen are paired with sophomores, juniors, and/or seniors from within Pott College. The programs and activities are designed to foster peer relationships between the mentors and mentees, to strengthen and sustain students in meeting their educational goals, and to help make the college experience exciting and fulfilling at the 缅北强奸. American Chemical Society

Joining the award-winning American Chemical Society-Student Members (ACS-SM) organization at 缅北强奸 is an educational and fun way to become involved with students and faculty members in the Chemistry Department. The ACS-SM is a professional organization for students interested in chemistry as a career. Members of this group attend national chemistry meetings and undergraduate research conferences. American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

Best Buddies

To establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Click here to contact the club's advisor, Dr. Murray.

Biology Club

All students interested in biology are invited to join the Biology Club. We participate in a variety of activities including Mesker Park Boo at the Zoo, Boy Scout Day and 缅北强奸 Biology Club Poinsettia Sale. The club also hosts a Halloween Party and an end of the semester dinner. We collaborate with a number of other Pott College groups in such activities as the Golden Flask competition and speaker presentations. Our activities and volunteer opportunities are in no way limited to the list above. We encourage active participation and welcome any ideas for activities from our members. Exercise Science and Kinesiology Club

The Exercise Science and Kinesiology Club is organized to provide its members with information and experiences relevant to their future careers in the Exercise Science and Kinesiology-based field. With monthly educational meetings, volunteer opportunities, and unique social and recreational activities, this organization will provide students with the information they need to be successful after graduation. Geology and Environmental Science Club

The Geology Club strives to promote camaraderie and scholarship through social activities and instructional field trips. We encourage all interested undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and alumni to be actively involved in the Geology Club. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

IEEE promotes hands-on experience in engineering design. We design and construct Autonomous Robots using guidelines and specifications established by competition. It is our goal to further the aims and ideals of the IEEE: to promote the welfare and knowledge of our members through meetings, field trips, conferences, lectures and social events with the express goal of developing and expanding the knowledge of theory, applications and professional practice as it relates to all phases of electrical and computer engineering and related fields of endeavor. Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) Education Honor Society

KDP is a national honor society in education. It is comprised a community of teachers who celebrate your achievements, encourage your progress, and become life-long colleagues. Whether you are completing a teaching degree or certification; seeking an advanced degree; or have been teaching for years — the KDP is for you. Along with a community of peer support, being a successful teacher requires best-in-class resources at every stage. Membership is by invitation only. Mu Gamma Pi Math Club

The Mu Gamma Pi Math Club is a welcoming, fun community for math and statistics majors/minors or those who just like the topics! We build relations between students, faculty, and staff through playing math-related games, discussing interesting topics, planning events, and celebrating Pi day. NMDP (Formerly Be The Match)

NMDP (Formerly Be The Match) is an organization that helps connect patients with their donor match for life-saving bone marrow transplants. Our campus chapter works on awareness, bone marrow registry drives, and fundraisers that support patients and research.

Pre-Dental Club

The Pre-Dental Club at 缅北强奸 invites all Pre-Dental and Pre-Dental Hygiene students to participate and work together for our future goals within the dental field. Activities include: community service, guest speakers (Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and current dental school students), and practice of refining fine motor skills. Pre-Professional Health Club

PPHC is a campus club open for all students, no matter what your major is, who are interested in attending graduate school related to healthcare following 缅北强奸. This includes Pre-PA, Pre-Dentistry, Pre- Medicine, Pre-OT, Pre-PT, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Chiropractic, and Pre-Veterinary. Our focus is to help prepare, educate, and inform students about different opportunities that will help boost applications as well as provide support and answers about different application processes and career opportunities through alumni student panels and monthly meetings. Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Baja Team

This club designs and builds a single seat offroad vehicle. Students use engineering skills to design the frame, suspension, drive-train, electrical, and just about everything else on the car! Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders. Student Education Association

Student Education Association (SEA) is an organization for students interested in the field of education. SEA welcomes all education majors. This organization holds monthly meetings in which we discuss professional development activities, community service opportunities, and current news in education. Members have the opportunity to attend the ISEA fall conference in Indianapolis each October and participate in Outreach to Teach Program each April. Dues are $40.
