Influence is at the heart of leadership. To truly lead, we must learn how to connect with others in meaningful ways that create positive change. This could be within our personal lives, our organizations, or our communities.
This program explores what it means to become a person of influence; someone who uplifts, motivates, and inspires others to reach their full potential. Participants will learn not only why we should influence others, but also how to do so effectively and ethically through a progression of four stages: modeling, motivating, mentoring and multiplying.
We鈥檒l examine various methods of influence, such as intimidation, manipulation, exchange, force, or positional authority. We will also discover why the most lasting and powerful influence comes from integrity, trust, and genuine connection.
In this program, participants will:
1. Understand the central role of influence in effective leadership
2. Identify the qualities of a person of influence
3. Explore the four progressive stages of influence
4. Evaluate different methods of influence
