Students who have completed a master's degree and have an active/unencumbered occupational therapy (OT) license prior to the capstone experience are eligible to apply for the post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program.
Four semesters, including one summer
The post-professional OTD program is designed as an online experience.

There are special application procedures for those who are not citizens of the United States or who have completed previous schooling outside of the United States. International student applicants interested in the OTD program should visit Graduate Studies for information on applying to the university.
International applicants must submit an official (photocopy not acceptable) TOEFL or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score report verifying a minimum total score of one of the following:
TOEFL: 4.5 (on or after January 21, 2026), 79 (on or before January 20, 2026)
IELTS: 6.5
Exception: International students whose native language is English or who have graduated from an American university in which the language of instruction is English are not required to demonstrate language proficiency.
